Post Office Manager

Join our dynamic team as a Post Office Manager, where you will lead the daily operations of a bustling postal facility. This pivotal role involves ensuring exceptional customer service, overseeing sales and merchandising activities, and maintaining efficient administrative processes.

Responsibilities

• Operations & Transactions: Oversee daily postal services, including courier items, postal boxes, money transfers, and call-in parcels. Ensure accurate cash handling and register balances.
• Inventory Maintenance: Managing and ordering the postal office's inventory.
• Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and maintain high standards of public service and professional appearance.
• Loss Prevention: Enforce all loss prevention systems, company policies, and mandatory parcel check procedures.
• Collaboration: Work with the front store team and pharmacy/store management to boost postal department visibility, drive sales initiatives, and support general store duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous retail, cash handling, and supervisory or management experience (Canada Post or postal service experience is a strong asset).
• Skills: Strong organization, time management, verbal/written communication, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, and lift for up to 8 hours per shift, with the capability to lift or move parcels up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
