POST PRESS SUPERVISOR

About the role

Supervise daily post-press operations, including cutting, folding, gluing, die-cutting, binding, laminating, and other finishing processes, as applicable.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet delivery deadlines
• Monitor production output, product quality, and workmanship to ensure compliance with customer specifications
• Supervise, guide, and allocate work to post-press operators and production assistants
• Ensure job orders, production instructions, and job sheets are followed correctly
• Coordinate with the Printing, Planning, Quality Control, and other relevant departments to resolve production issues
• Monitor material usage, minimise wastage, and improve production efficiency
• Ensure machines, tools, and equipment are properly maintained and operated safely
• Enforce company SOPs, housekeeping standards, and occupational safety requirements
• Report production progress, quality issues, machine breakdowns, and manpower requirements to Management

About you

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in the printing or packaging industry, preferably in a supervisory role
• Good knowledge of post-press processes and finishing operations
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Able to plan work, manage manpower, and meet production deadlines
• Able to identify quality defects and implement corrective actions
• Responsible, disciplined, proactive, and able to work independently
• Willing to work overtime or shifts when required by production needs
