Position Overview Salary range: The salary range for this position is $69,073 - $82,836. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by experience level. See Postdoctoral Scholar Scale for the salary range. “Off-scale salaries”, i.e. a salary that is higher than the published system-wide salary at the designated experience, are offered when necessary to meet competitive conditions.

Position Description The Ribbe/Hu laboratories at the University of California, Irvine are hiring Postdoctoral Scholars. Applications are invited for postdoctoral research positions to work on the catalysis and/or assembly of nitrogenase in our laboratory at the University of California, Irvine, CA. Strong problem-solving skills, creative thinking, and initiative are required. Ideal candidates will have a Ph.D. with experience in (a) protein biochemistry and/or (b) cryo-electron microscopy (Cryo-EM) of proteins.
