What they need
Required Skills:
- Strong experience as a PostgreSQL DBA.
- PostgreSQL installation, configuration, and administration on Linux/Windows.
- Backup & Recovery (PG Dump, WAL Archiving, PITR).
- Replication (Streaming, Logical, Cascading).
- High Availability (HA) setup and management.
- PostgreSQL version upgrades and migrations.
- Database monitoring, performance tuning, and maintenance (Vacuum, Reindex, Archiving).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain production PostgreSQL databases.
- Configure replication, backup, and recovery solutions.
- Perform upgrades, migrations, and routine database maintenance.
- Monitor database health and optimize performance.
- Create automation scripts and support high-availability environments.
- Troubleshoot database issues and support production systems.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with MySQL, MongoDB, MSSQL, or Oracle.
