Poultry Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and responsible Poultry Farm Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our poultry farm. The successful candidate will supervise farm workers, monitor farm activities, maintain accurate records, and ensure that daily operations run smoothly.

The ideal candidate must have practical experience in poultry farming, good leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a farm environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of poultry farm workers.
• Monitor farm operations and ensure that assigned tasks are completed efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of daily farm activities, including stock, production, mortality, and other relevant farm records.
• Monitor the condition of the birds and promptly report any signs of illness or unusual behaviour.
• Ensure proper feeding, watering, hygiene, and general care of the birds.
• Monitor the use of feed, medication, equipment, and other farm supplies.
• Ensure that farm workers follow established hygiene, safety, and biosecurity procedures.
• Identify operational challenges and report farm-related issues to the Farm Manager.
• Submit regular reports on farm activities, staff performance, and production.
• Ensure that the farm environment is clean, organised, and properly maintained.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of OND in Agriculture, Animal Science, Animal Production, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in poultry farming, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Good knowledge of poultry management, feeding, disease prevention, and farm hygiene.
• Ability to supervise workers and coordinate daily farm activities.
• Good record-keeping, communication, and reporting skills.
• Ability to identify and report poultry health and farm management issues.
• Must be willing to work and reside in a poultry farm environment.
• Must be hardworking, reliable, observant, and result-oriented.

Work Schedule

• Working Days: Monday to Sunday
• Days Off: One day off per week
• Resumption Time: 8:00 AM
• Closing Time: 6:00 PM
• Location: Sapele Road, Benin City, Edo State
• Industry: Poultry Farming

Salary and Benefits

• Monthly salary starting from ₦150,000, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
• Accommodation provided.

Pay: ₦150,000.00 per month
