Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Powder Coat Manager to lead our powder coating operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire powder coating process, ensuring optimal production efficiency, quality control, and continuous improvement. Your leadership will drive team performance and uphold our standards of excellence in manufacturing management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the powder coating department to meet production schedules while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Develop and implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Oversee production management systems such as SAP, ERP systems, MRP, and supply chain management tools to coordinate workflows effectively.
• Monitor and analyze Excel data for production metrics, quality control trends, and supply chain analytics to inform decision-making.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including operations, quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain to optimize processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Manage inventory levels for powder coating supplies and raw materials using production planning tools.

Experience

• Proven experience in manufacturing management with a focus on powder coating or finishing operations.
• Strong background in production scheduling, process improvement, and lean manufacturing techniques.
• Familiarity with manufacturing management systems such as SAP, ERP systems, MRP, and supply chain analytics tools.
• Demonstrated leadership in team management with excellent cross-functional communication skills.
• Mechanical knowledge related to coating equipment maintenance and assembly processes.
• Experience applying Six Sigma or lean management principles to drive operational excellence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
