Powder Coat Sprayer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sprayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying various types of coatings and finishes to a range of products, ensuring high-quality results that meet our standards. This role requires a strong understanding of materials and techniques, as well as the ability to work with various tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Functions

• Prepare and clean surfaces for powder coating.
• Set up and operate powder coating equipment.
• Apply powder coatings consistently and evenly on components.
• Performs regular quality checks on work piece.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and workspace as needed.
• Follows proper safety, OSHA, and Company guidelines.
• Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly.
• Communicates to co-workers and other team members in an effective way.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of powder coating equipment and processes.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and move parts as needed.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and production procedures.

Education

· High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Preferred Experience Requirements:

• 1 year of experience working as a Powder Coating Technician or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with different types of powder coating materials, colors, and finishes.
• Experience with the use of powder coating spray guns, booths, and ovens.
• Ability to work with various metal substrates and apply coatings in accordance with production specifications.
• Experience in performing quality control checks to ensure finished products meet standards.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
