Powder Truck Driver

Overview:

Precision Aggregate Products LLC is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Powder Truck Driver / Mixer Driver to transport and deliver dry bulk materials, cement products, and ready-mix concrete to customer locations throughout Southern Nevada and surrounding areas. This position requires experience operating both pneumatic powder tankers and concrete mixer trucks, ensuring materials are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Class A or Class B commercial vehicles, including powder trucks and ready-mix concrete mixer trucks.
• Transport and deliver cement, fly ash, lime, aggregate-related materials, ready-mix concrete, and other construction products.
• Operate pneumatic unloading systems, blowers, and related equipment for bulk material deliveries.
• Deliver ready-mix concrete to job sites while maintaining product quality and compliance with customer specifications.
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and daily inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery tickets, mileage records, and inspection reports.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor maintenance of assigned equipment.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, customers, and supervisors.
• Ensure all loads are delivered safely and on schedule.
• Follow all company safety policies, DOT regulations, and customer site requirements.
• Assist with loading and unloading operations when necessary.
• Report equipment issues, accidents, or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive customer relationships.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet company insurance requirements.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Previous experience operating pneumatic bulk tankers and concrete mixer trucks strongly preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and DOT physical.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
