Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer / Data Analyst / MIS Executive with strong hands-on expertise in Power BI and Advanced Excel.

The candidate will be responsible for developing Power BI dashboards, MIS reports, KPI reports, business analysis and management dashboards using Sales, Finance and Operations data.

The role requires excellent practical knowledge of Power BI, Advanced Excel, SQL, DAX, Power Query and Data Modelling, along with the ability to convert business data into accurate and meaningful insights for Management.

Strong Advanced Excel skills are mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports using Advanced Excel.
• Develop reports covering Sales, Target vs Achievement, Collections, Outstanding, KPIs and Business Performance.
• Create DAX measures, calculated columns and business calculations in Power BI.
• Perform data cleaning and transformation using Power Query.
• Build and maintain efficient Power BI data models.
• Write SQL queries for data extraction, reporting and analysis.
• Develop Excel dashboards using Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts and Advanced Excel formulas.
• Perform data reconciliation and identify discrepancies or data-quality issues.
• Automate repetitive MIS and reporting activities.
• Analyse business data and provide meaningful insights to Management.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as required.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency across Excel, Power BI, ERP and other reporting systems.
• Troubleshoot Power BI, Excel, SQL, data refresh and reporting issues.
• Coordinate with Sales, Finance and Operations teams to understand reporting requirements.
• Deliver accurate reports and dashboards within defined timelines.

Candidate Profile

• 58 years of relevant experience in Power BI, Data Analytics, MIS or Business Intelligence.
• Excellent practical knowledge of Power BI and Advanced Excel.
• Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query and Data Modelling.
• Working knowledge of SQL/SQL Server.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to independently develop dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
• Experience handling and analysing large datasets.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with Sales, Finance or Operations data will be an advantage.

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant certifications in Power BI, Data Analytics, SQL or Advanced Excel will be an advantage.
