We are looking for a skilled Power BI Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our reporting ecosystem, with a strong focus on finance, risk monitoring, and operational metrics. You will work at the intersection of complex data modeling, business analytics, and executive decision-making. This is a fully remote position, perfect for an analytical problem-solver who is self-motivated, disciplined, and ready to make a significant impact.

What you'll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js/Express and MySQL at scale.
• Implement and manage caching strategies using Redis to ensure high performance.
• Build and maintain AI/LLM pipelines, including embeddings, vector databases (Pinecone), and multi-provider integrations (OpenAI, Gemini).
• Architect and maintain RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) workflows to enhance our product's intelligence.
• Manage our cloud infrastructure on AWS using an Infrastructure-as-Code discipline (EKS, Helm, eksctl, IRSA) – No console or manual kubectl edits.
• Ensure robust multi-tenant SaaS data isolation across the platform.
• Develop and maintain integrations with third-party platforms (Zendesk, SendGrid, Meta) via webhooks and APIs.
• Work with our frontend stack (SvelteKit 2 / Svelte 5, Tailwind) to collaborate on full-stack features.
• Own the software lifecycle using Git/CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Docker, ECR).

What you’ll bring:

• 2+ years of experience as a BI Developer, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query (M), Data Modeling (Star Schema), and Power BI Service (workspaces, refresh management).
• Solid knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes and data transformation for reporting.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and user-centric dashboard design.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ability to work in Agile environments with a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with Azure ecosystem (Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse, Data Bricks).
• Advanced Power BI features: Dataflows, Row-Level Security (RLS), and deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of data governance, report lifecycle management, and performance tuning.
• Experience with financial, risk, or fraud reporting (a gran plus given the responsibilities).
