Responsibilities

• Translate business needs to technical specifications.
• Design, build and deploy BI solutions with Power BI as primary BI skill.
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms with Power BI.
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshoot.
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
• Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.
• Develop and update technical documentation.
• Understand any BI-level SLAs and take care of BI performance tuning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related stream.
• Candidate with 6-7 years of relevant experience.
• Should possess good understanding of data-warehousing concepts.
• Should have worked on databases like SQL, SAP, Mongo Db, Oracle RDBS etc.
• Experience in BI tools like Tableau, Power BI Qlik (QlikView/Qlik sense), both at scripting front-end visualization level.
• Hands-on experience with at least 6 projects on BI tools. Also, have experience in working on server side for these tools.
• Good experience in designing custom dashboards, reports Ad-hoc reporting.
• Should possess good domain knowledge like finance, profitability, Retail Hospitality.
• Knowledge of AWS is an added advantage.
• Experience in requirement gathering process creation of technical design document.
• Experience on ETL (Logic transformation of data) layer.
