Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join our BI/Data Analytics team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Power BI, SQL Server, DAX, data modelling, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS, along with experience in designing scalable BI and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
• Design and develop complex Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
• Develop advanced DAX measures and calculations.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Work with SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
• Design and develop ETL/data pipelines using SSIS.
• Work with Bronze/Silver/Gold (Medallion Architecture) and legacy data pipelines.
• Manage Power BI Service, Gateway configuration, and scheduled data refreshes.
• Create technical design specifications and define data contracts.
• Review technical solutions for performance, scalability, and data quality.
• Troubleshoot complex BI, SQL, ETL, and data-related issues.
• Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams for timely delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to BI/Data Engineering developers.
• Interact with business stakeholders and present technical recommendations.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in BI, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or related technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI.
• Excellent knowledge of SQL Server and SQL.
• Strong expertise in DAX and Data Modelling.
• Hands-on experience with ETL / SSIS.
• Good understanding of SSRS and SSAS.
• Experience with Power BI Service, Gateway, and cloud deployment.
• Understanding of data engineering and data pipeline concepts.
• Experience in BI solution design and data architecture.
• Strong requirement-gathering and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold).
• Experience with Veeva integration, including iframe/Compass.
