Power BI Developer

Job Summary

The Power BI Developer designs, builds, and maintains scalable analytics and reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI, SQL, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Microsoft Fabric. This role focuses on transforming enterprise data into clear, high‑quality dashboards and insights that support business and operational decision‑making. The ideal candidate combines strong Power BI development and data analysis skills with the ability to partner with stakeholders, optimize performance, and communicate insights effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, enhance, and create Power BI and Azure DevOps (ADO) dashboards, ensuring they meet evolving business requirements and quality standards.
• Monitor and improve report and dataset performance, including query optimization and refresh efficiency.
• Proactively identify, analyze, and communicate key trends, patterns, and insights to stakeholders through dashboards, summaries, and presentations.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable reporting solutions and clear, intuitive visualizations.
• Provide guidance and documentation on best practices for dashboard usage, interpretation, and self‑service analytics.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, reports, and datasets for business and operational reporting.
• Experience optimizing Power BI performance, including data modeling, DAX, query tuning, and dataset refresh efficiency.
• Hands‑on experience extracting and analyzing enterprise data using Power Query, SQL, or equivalent tools.
• Experience partnering with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver intuitive, effective reporting solutions.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain insights and technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
