Job Title: Power BI Developer – Data Engineering, Reporting & Dashboard Specialist
Location: Muscat, Oman

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join our Business Intelligence Unit. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI dashboard development, data modeling, SQL-based ETL, and reporting solutions, with hands-on experience in the banking/financial domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards for financial and banking data.
• Develop SQL-based ETL pipelines and optimize T-SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Work with Power BI Report Server for publishing and maintaining reports.
• Build and maintain efficient data models, including Star and Snowflake schemas.
• Implement DAX, Power Query, Row-Level Security (RLS) and report performance optimization.
• Automate data refresh processes and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with BI teams to deliver reporting solutions aligned with business requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Power BI development, data modeling and SQL-based ETL.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query and T-SQL.
• Experience with SQL Server, Stored Procedures, Indexing and SSIS.
• Strong experience in the banking/financial domain, particularly with transactional and financial datasets.
• Experience with Power BI Report Server and report performance optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics or a related field.
• SAS experience will be an added advantage.
• Omani nationals are preferred.
