We are looking for a Power Bi Developer

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, publish and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring clear and interactive data visualization.
• Query and retrieve data directly from the Data Warehouse, using SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and effective reporting solutions.
• Prepare and transform data using Power Query.
• Design and optimize data models, applying dimensional modeling and performance best practices.
• Create and optimize DAX measures and calculated columns.
• Manage report sharing and collaboration through Power BI Service.
• Analyze and respond to ad hoc requests from stakeholders, delivering relevant data insights.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, customers and team members.
• Develop and deliver solutions within an Agile environment.

PROFILE & SKILLS

• Strong proficiency in Power BI, including report development, publishing and management.
• Experience with Power BI Service and Power Query.
• Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, views and functions.
• Knowledge of SQL Server performance tuning and query optimization.
• Proficiency in DAX, with the ability to develop efficient measures and calculated columns.
• Experience with DAX Studio for analyzing and debugging DAX queries.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling, data normalization and denormalization.
• Experience with Tabular Editor for managing and deploying tabular models.
• Understanding of ETL processes and Data Warehouse concepts and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of data visualization best practices and data storytelling.
• Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above is mandatory.
• Portuguese proficiency at C1 level or above is mandatory.
• Knowledge of Git or Bitbucket for version control in BI projects is an advantage.
• Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics, data transformation and visualization within Power BI is a plus.
