Power BI Developer(contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, JasperReports, and analytical models.
• Build interactive visualizations, KPI dashboards, and storytelling-focused analytical reports.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and transformation logic for BI solutions.
• Design and optimize data models using star and snowflake schemas for reporting performance and scalability.
• Develop solutions using Power BI Desktop, DAX, and Power Query (M).
• Develop and maintain JasperReports/JasperServer templates, datasets, parameters, and reporting solutions.
• Perform data exploration, trend analysis, statistical analysis, and quantitative evaluations to generate actionable insights.
• Work with business users and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical BI specifications.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes, BI data flows, and data pipelines.
• Define and maintain BI governance standards covering report formats, metadata, version control, access control, and data quality.
• Administer Power BI Service, including datasets, gateways, refresh schedules, workspaces, and permissions.
• Manage JasperServer repository, report scheduling, deployment, and access controls.
• Troubleshoot reporting, data, dashboard, and performance-related issues.
• Optimize SQL queries, data models, datasets, and report performance.
• Present analytical findings and insights to stakeholders using effective data storytelling techniques.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business teams, data engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable BI solutions.
