Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Create and optimize data models using Power BI Desktop.
• Develop DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Power Query and other data integration tools.
• Connect Power BI to various data sources, including SQL databases, Azure services, Excel, SharePoint, and APIs.
• Implement row-level security (RLS) and data governance best practices.
• Monitor and optimize report performance and data refresh schedules.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and data engineers.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and provide ongoing support.
• Maintain documentation for dashboards, datasets, and development processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 7-9 years of experience in Power BI development.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
  • DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
  • Power Query (M Language)
  • SQL and database concepts
  • Data modeling and warehousing concepts
  • Experience with Azure Data Services, SQL Server, or Snowflake.
  • Understanding of ETL processes and data integration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
