Job Description: Technical & Soft Skills Trainer (Excel & Power BI)
Position: Corporate & Academic Trainer – Advanced Excel, Power BI & Soft Skills
Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu (Physical / Classroom Delivery)
Engagement Type: Contract / Visiting Faculty

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Delivery: Conduct highly engaging, hands-on classroom sessions covering Advanced Excel (advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, data cleaning, automated reporting) and Power BI (Power Query, data modeling, DAX, interactive report & dashboard design).
• Soft Skills Development: Deliver targeted modules on business communication, professional email etiquette, interview readiness, presentation techniques, and workplace problem-solving.
• Practical Learning & Exercises: Design and evaluate daily class exercises, real-world case studies, and mini-projects to evaluate participant comprehension.
• Performance Assessment: Track attendance, administer periodic assessments, provide constructive feedback to participants, and submit batch progress reports to the program coordinator.
• Classroom Management: Maintain high engagement, address individual learner doubts, and ensure adherence to the daily schedule (1:15 PM – 4:15 PM).

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Total Experience: Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in training delivery (corporate, academic, or institutional settings).
• Location: Must be a Chennai-based / local trainer available for offline, classroom facilitation.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel (Lookup functions, logical expressions, nested formulas, Pivot Tables, Charting, conditional formatting).
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI (data transformation via Power Query, relationship modeling, DAX measures/columns, visualization design).
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills with strong presentation presence.
• Classroom Expertise: Demonstrated track record of offline, face-to-face instruction and effective student management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Official Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate / PL-300, Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Expert).
• Prior experience delivering employability training, skill development, or campus-to-corporate bridge programs.

Pay: ₹9,300.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
