Power BI/NetSuite Data Analytics Engineer

Working as an IT professional serving FP& A group in administering and developing new tools, functionality enhancements, and departmental modification requests. This role will require strong Power BI Engineering skills, NetSuite ERP administration and quality assurance, and maintaining clean and scalable usage of Workday Adaptive Planning

We are looking for a finance-savvy analytics specialist to connect business priorities with data-driven reporting and planning solutions in Tampa, Florida. This role works across Finance, Technology, and leadership teams to turn complex operational and financial information into clear insights that support planning, performance measurement, and strategic decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with Power BI, enterprise financial systems, and modern analytics practices, along with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with finance leaders and cross-functional partners to gather reporting needs and translate them into practical analytics solutions.

• Design and enhance Power BI dashboards and recurring reports that provide leadership with clear visibility into business and financial performance.

• Build, refine, and troubleshoot data queries to pull information from enterprise platforms for analysis, validation, and reporting.

• Coordinate with data engineering teams to support reliable data flows, scalable reporting structures, and consistent metric definitions.

• Evaluate financial and operational results, uncover meaningful trends, and deliver actionable recommendations to decision-makers.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities by creating reporting tools and analytical outputs that improve accuracy and insight.

• Develop data models and performance measures that track revenue, expenses, utilization, and other key business indicators.

• Use Python and related tools to streamline manual reporting tasks and strengthen analytical automation.

• Promote data quality, governance, and reporting consistency across systems used by finance and business teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence, financial analytics, FP& A reporting, financial systems, or a comparable area.

• Demonstrated expertise building dashboards and reports in Power BI.

• Strong hands-on experience querying and analyzing large datasets in enterprise environments.

• Background working with financial and operational data to support reporting, planning, or performance analysis.

• Practical knowledge of Python for reporting automation, analysis, or data preparation.

• Ability to communicate clearly with finance stakeholders, business leaders, and executive audiences.

• Experience with NetSuite and Workday Adaptive Planning is strongly preferred.
