  • Support Services Manufacturing with construction, installation, wiring, testing, and in-house fabrication tasks.
  • Routinely inspect assigned vehicles and calibrated tools/test instruments.
  • Contribute flexibly—from assisting in the shop to leading small installation crews.

Where and how you’ll work

  • Expect flexible hours with overtime and some weekends.

  • Awareness of electrical air and surface creepage clearances.
  • Competence writing complete test reports and project summaries; able to explain basic anomalies.

Preferred

  • Read contactor and circuit breaker schematics.
  • Working knowledge of Hi Potential and low-resistance testing.
  • Experience with mechanical/electrical functional testing of breakers and switchgear.
  • NICET Level 1 certification.
  • HUET/Offshore Survival (training provided if needed).

Skills that set you up for success

  • Assist senior technicians with maintenance, repairs, installations, upgrades, and retrofills on Powell switchgear and PCRs.
  • Hands-on capability with 120/208/240/480V systems, electrical installation, switchgear, welding, OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, and heavy-equipment diagnostics.
