Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 8+ years designing power electronics for aerospace, defense, industrial, or other high-reliability applications.
  • Strong experience designing DC-DC power converters or related power conversion circuits.
  • Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB design tools such as Cadence Allegro or Altium.
  • Experience with simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or Mathcad.
  • Strong understanding of power semiconductor devices. MOSFET experience required; IGBT, SiC, and GaN are beneficial.
  • Experience supporting hardware from architecture through qualification and production.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field.
  • Experience developing electronics for harsh-environment or space applications.
  • Experience with radiation-tolerant or radiation-hardened electronics.
  • Experience with motor control, reliability analysis (FMEA/MTBF), or system integration.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical design reviews.
