Power Electronics Hardware Engineer - Pune

Role & responsibilities

Product development from concept to production. This is a hands-on role involving circuit design, prototyping, testing, debugging and product validation.

1. Design SMPS, DC-DC converters, power supplies and single/three-phase inverters.

2. Work on PFC, THD and custom magnetics. Design circuits and PCBs using Kicad, Altium/Cadence.

3. Work with STM32/ARM, PMICs and communication interfaces.

4. Prototype, test and debug hardware using laboratory equipment.

5. Handle EMI/EMC, thermal management, DFM/DFT and reliability.

6. Take products from prototype through validation to manufacturing.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical, Electronics or ECE.

2. 38 years of relevant power-electronics experience.

3. Experience taking at least one product from prototype to manufacturing.

4. Strong hardware design and debugging skills.

5. Basic embedded/STM32 knowledge.

6. Ownership mindset and ability to balance performance, cost, reliability and manufacturability.

7. Good to Have: Python/MATLAB/LabVIEW, flexible PCB/high-speed design, RF/wireless, or experience in EV, Energy, Robotics or IoT.
