Power Platform & Copilot Studio Engineer (x2)

Location : Poland, fully remote

Anticipated Start Dates : 1x December, 1x January

Contract : Initial six-month engagement, with potential for a longer-term extension

Client environment : Enterprise financial services

Project and Role Overview:

  • A leading global banking and financial services company is expanding its use of production AI agents, moving from lower-risk information and summarisation tools to more complex, integrated agentic AI use cases.
  • The project targets 15 production agentic use cases by the end of March 2026, comprising five low-risk, five medium-risk and five high-risk use cases. This is expected to increase to 40 production use cases by the end of March 2027.
  • The Power Platform and Copilot Studio Engineers will contribute across the project, initially supporting agent implementation and mobilisation before moving into enhancement, regression testing, technical support and observability activities.
  • This is a hands-on engineering position focused on configuring, building, testing, deploying and supporting solutions against defined requirements. The successful engineers are responsible for implementing the required agent behaviour effectively and securely.
  • The ideal candidate will have approximately five to six years of relevant experience, including a strong foundation in Microsoft Power Platform and recent, demonstrable commercial experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, configure and deploy enterprise agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio
  • Implement agent topics, triggers, actions and connectors based on defined functional and technical specifications
  • Take Copilot Studio agents through testing, evaluation and controlled production deployment
  • Configure and manage the Power Platform environments, permissions and access controls required to support implemented solutions
  • Integrate Copilot Studio with relevant Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform and enterprise data sources
  • Develop and configure Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Dataverse components and custom connectors where required
  • Apply Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365 governance principles to support data security, compliance and auditability
  • Explain how deployed agents are monitored, governed and supported after release
  • Support testing, evaluations, troubleshooting and production support
  • Work closely with the Product Lead, technical leadership and other engineers to translate detailed specifications into working agent behaviour
  • Produce clear implementation, configuration and support documentation
  • Collaborate with the client’s technical lead on deployment activities

Essential Experience

  • Strong commercial experience as a Power Platform Engineer, Developer or Technical Specialist: 4+ years
  • Significant recent experience delivering solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio: 2+ years
  • Evidence of building and deploying at least one Copilot Studio agent into a production environment
  • Experience limited to Microsoft 365 Agent Builder will not be considered sufficient
  • Experience implementing topics, triggers, actions and connectors
  • Experience configuring LLM endpoints, and manipulating document intelligence
  • Experience of enterprise deployment, governance and application lifecycle management
  • Strong SharePoint configuration, development or integration experience
  • Experience implementing logging, monitoring and diagnostics for Power Platform or Copilot solutions
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Purview, including its application to governance, compliance and data protection
  • Ability to implement clearly defined product requirements without needing to own the overall solution architecture.
  • Desirable: Experience in financial services/banking domain is beneficial, but not required
