Power Platform Engineer

adesso Bulgaria is part of the international adesso Group, one of Europe’s leading IT service providers. We specialize in delivering high-quality software solutions and digital transformation services to clients across industries such as finance, insurance, automotive, healthcare, and the public sector. Our Sofia team works closely with international colleagues and clients to build reliable, scalable, and innovative software products.

Your Role:

We are looking for a Power Platform Engineer who can deliver end-to-end business solutions and build deeper expertise in Microsoft Copilot Studio and AI agents. You will work across Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and enterprise integrations, while helping customers adopt practical, secure AI capabilities. The role is deliberately broader than dedicated agent development: you will contribute to established Power Platform projects and develop agentic AI solutions as demand grows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain business applications, workflow automations and data solutions
• Integrate Microsoft 365 and enterprise applications through APIs, custom connectors and reusable components; follow sound governance and lifecycle practices
• Build and deploy Copilot Studio agents with knowledge sources, custom actions, business-process integrations and appropriate human oversight
• Evaluate additional agentic approaches where they add value, including Azure-based AI services and integrations beyond Copilot Studio
• Use GitHub and CI/CD pipelines for collaborative development, source control, testing and deployment of applications and supported Power Platform assets
• Extend solutions with Azure Functions, REST APIs and Azure AI services; implement secure authentication and authorization with Microsoft Entra ID
• Apply GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve delivery, code quality and team productivity

Required Skills & Experience:

• Solid hands-on Power Platform experience, particularly Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse, including delivery of production solutions
• Experience with Copilot Studio or related AI agent development, combined with a clear interest in specializing further in this area
• Practical experience with REST APIs, enterprise system integration, Git/GitHub and deployment or CI/CD practices
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure, cloud integration, authentication and enterprise security principles
• Understanding of generative AI and prompt engineering, plus coding ability in at least one of C#, JavaScript, TypeScript or Python
• Ability to own technical tasks, communicate with stakeholders and select pragmatic solutions to real business problems
• Relevant Microsoft credentials in Power Platform development, Copilot Studio / AI agent building, or Azure AI. Demonstrated hands-on delivery is equally valued
• English and German on B2+ Level

Benefits:

• Access to trainings and courses
• Personal notebook from the first day on
• Opportunity to work on exciting projects for our internationally known customers
• Health insurance
• Onsite from our office in Sofia
• 25 days annual leave

If you are passionate about quality, automation, and building reliable software solutions, we’d love to hear from you.
