What they need
Power Platform Manager
London | Hybrid – 3 days in the office | £57,000
Nigel Frank International is working on behalf of a London-based non-profit organisation to appoint a Power Platform Manager .
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can build and improve solutions across Power Platform and Microsoft 365, while guiding a small development team and helping colleagues make the most of the technology available to them.
The organisation operates internationally and is investing in its Microsoft cloud environment, with priorities across process automation, digital workplace improvements, AI and a new CRM build. Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) would be a strong advantage, but it is not essential.
The role
Reporting to the Global Head of IT, you’ll lead and support two developers while remaining involved in technical delivery. You’ll work with teams across the organisation to understand their processes, identify opportunities for improvement and deliver secure, practical solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and building Canvas and model-driven Power Apps, Power Automate flows and other Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Connecting and managing data across Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL and other sources.
- Developing and supporting REST APIs and integrations, including authentication, versioning and error handling.
- Supporting the organisation’s CRM build, identifying opportunities for integrations, automation and improved data flows. Dynamics 365 CE experience would be useful.
- Administering and improving the Power Platform and Microsoft Fabric environments, including permissions, security, schemas and governance.
- Supporting AI and automation initiatives, helping solutions move from development into day-to-day use.
- Managing the Power Platform and integrations roadmap, balancing business value, technical dependencies and wider IT priorities.
- Coaching and developing two direct reports, reviewing their work and helping them deliver to agreed standards.
- Supporting employees with training, adoption and effective use of Power Platform and Microsoft 365.
- Contributing to the IT incident and service-request queue, working within agreed service levels.
- Advising on risks and opportunities involving security, licensing, scalability and data residency.
What they’re looking for
- Strong hands-on experience across Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and Power BI.
- Experience designing, building or supporting REST APIs and integrations.
- Good understanding of Dataverse data modelling and security roles.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Azure Functions to extend app functionality.
- Experience delivering digital workplace or productivity solutions within Microsoft 365.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication and stakeholder skills.
- Microsoft Power Platform Developer certification (PL-400) is essential.
- Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant certification (PL-200) is also listed as essential.
- SC-900 certification and Microsoft Fabric governance experience would be beneficial.
- Dynamics 365 CE experience is welcome, particularly if you’ve contributed to a CRM implementation or build, but it is not essential.
You don’t need to have held a formal management title to be considered. They’re keen to meet someone who can lead through their technical work, mentor colleagues, take responsibility and bring a positive, collaborative approach. Formal line-management experience is valuable, but the right personality and ability to develop others matter just as much.
Working pattern
The role is based in London, with three days a week in the office and two days working remotely. The organisation works across the UK, US, Europe, China and Japan, so clear communication and confidence working with international colleagues are important.
If you’re a Power Platform specialist who enjoys combining hands-on delivery with technical leadership, and wants to help an organisation improve how it works through Microsoft technology, we’d like to hear from you.
Other offers great for you!
