This position supports the ongoing maintenance and development of SharePoint sites, Power Automate flows, and Power Apps used across Health Sciences units. The person in this role will work closely with the senior application developer to maintain existing systems, build and modify automations and apps, and formalize process documentation for departmental workflows. This role is well suited to a candidate with hands-on production experience across the Power Platform who can work with a reasonable degree of independence while collaborating closely with the broader IT team. Monitor site health, storage, and structure; perform routine cleanup and reorganization as needed
Troubleshoot access, permission, and content issues reported by end users
Build, modify, and maintain automated workflows (approval flows, notifications, data syncs) using Power Automate
Debug flow failures and connector issues; monitor flow run history and proactively resolve recurring errors
Apply solution-aware flow design and environment variable best practices for portability across environments
Develop and maintain canvas and/or model-driven Power Apps
Update existing apps in response to changing business requirements
Test apps across devices/browsers and troubleshoot performance or data connection issues
Maintain Microsoft Dataverse

Manage environment settings, data policies, and connector governance in alignment with organizational standards
Create and maintain Dataverse tables, columns, relationships, and choices to support apps and flows
Manage Dataverse security roles, table permissions, and business rules
Monitor Dataverse storage capacity and environment health, escalating issues as needed
Understand how Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint interact with connected systems (e.g., PeopleSoft-adjacent data sources, Perceptive Content, Tableau/Alteryx-fed reporting)
Troubleshoot integration issues when data doesn't flow as expected between systems
Recommend improvements to integration design as new business needs arise
Create and maintain clear process documentation for existing automations, flows, apps, and SharePoint structures
Document new builds as they are developed, including purpose, logic, dependencies, and known limitations
Establish and maintain a shared documentation repository so processes are sustainable and transferable beyond any one individual
Required:
1+ years of hands-on experience administering SharePoint Online, including site, library, and list creation and management
1+ years of experience building and maintaining Power Automate flows in a production environment (approval workflows, scheduled flows, connector-based automations)
Demonstrated experience developing Power Apps (canvas apps and model-driven)
Knowledge of SQL
Experience creating and maintaining Power Platform environments and Dataverse tables/relationships
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical processes into clear, structured documentation
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
Preferred:
Experience in a higher education or healthcare-adjacent IT environment
Working knowledge of Snowflake, or Alteryx
Experience with Tableau or other reporting/dashboard tools
