Power Systems / Grid Compliance Engineer

To support the development of our project pipeline, Energy Trading Ireland (ETI) is expanding its Engineering Projects Team. These projects range from small scale, behind the meter installations typically involving PV/BESS/engine, at 400V, 6.6kV, 11kV, 33kV and 110kV levels. The largest project will be our 110kV connected, 100MW/200MWh BESS project.

We are looking to recruit two experienced Power Systems / Grid Compliance Engineers with strong expertise in Northern Ireland G99 grid connection applications, power system studies and renewable energy projects.

Key Areas of Expertise

The successful candidate should have experience in:

• NI G99 Grid Connection Applications & Grid Compliance
• Power System Studies
• Load Flow & Power Flow Studies
• Fault / Short-Circuit Studies
• Harmonic Studies & Power Quality Analysis
• Grid Connection and Compliance Studies
• BESS Design & Grid Integration
• Solar PV System Design
• Gas and diesel engines (desirable)

Software Skills

Experience with some or all of the following is desirable:

• ETAP
• PSS®E
• Power Factory
• HOMER Pro
• PVsyst
• HelioScope
• PV SOL

Candidates with practical experience working on BESS, Solar PV, HV/MV systems, and Northern Ireland grid connection requirements are particularly encouraged to apply.
