Role: Power Systems Software Engineer  
Location: Remote

 Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support high‑availability electricity market and grid management software.  
• Design, implement, and troubleshoot power systems applications.  
• Collaborate in Agile teams for software design, testing, and production support.  
• Analyze and resolve technical issues impacting grid/EMS applications.  
• Contribute to performance, quality, and reliability improvements.

Required Skills

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field.  
• Strong background in Power Systems Analysis and Application Software Development.  
• Knowledge of electricity markets, grid operations, EMS.  
• Hands‑on coding in Java, C++, .NET.  
• Experience with SCUC, Economic Dispatch, MIP optimization algorithms.  
• Strong analytical/problem‑solving skills.  
• Experience in Agile environments.

Preferred Experience

• Supporting Energy Management Systems (EMS) or utility grid software.  
• Knowledge of grid modernization, stability, and integrated grid solutions.
