PowerBI Developer and Analyst

As part of the Data Management team, you will work as a PowerBI/Fabric Developer/Analyst on projects and provide support the HR department and potentially other divisions. You will work in tandem with an Application Analyst to develop the necessary Power BI reports based on the provided business requirements. You will also be able to gather the necessary requirements yourself, discuss them with the client, and translate them into documentation and effective reporting deliverables.

• Document needs regarding the reports and dashboards for which you are responsible.

• Analyse the “as-is” reporting and translate it into the future solution architecture.

• Contribute to the migration planning from the “AS IS” environment to the “TO BE” architecture.

• Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Experience building Power BI reports on top of SAP BW/BW4 as well as Azure.

• Hands-on experience setting up RLS (Row Level Security) to protect data in Power BI reports and monitor the necessary data sensitivity.

• Experience building multilingual reports and dashboards using a data-driven approach.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand data analysis and visualization requirements.

• Transform and model raw data into actionable insights.

• Provide advice on the maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of existing Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and data-driven decision-making.

• You provide input and recommendations

• Degree in Economics or Computer Science

• At least 7 years of experience in a similar role (Power BI / Fabric Development & Analysis).

• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

• At least 7 years of professional experience and expertise in BI and reporting tools:

• Microsoft Power BI (7 years)

• Microsoft Fabric (2 years)

• Microsoft AAS (5 years)

• Experience with RayFin and CoPilot in Microsoft Fabric

• At least 3 years of professional experience and expertise in Azure Cloud and Data Solutions and Services

• Language skills: fluent communication in Dutch, French, and English (spoken and written).
