About the role
Ready to take your electrical career to new heights?
SA Power Networks is excited to offer new opportunities for qualified Electricians to transition into a rewarding career as Powerline Workers.
This unique program is based on a 4-year training contract, but thanks to our extensive on-the-job training and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) processes, you can complete the pathway and obtain your Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Overhead in almost to 2 years. These 3 positions are based across our Metro North Depots (Elizabeth, Holden Hill & Wingfield).
All training will be delivered through our in-house training centre based in Angle Park. Start Date: 26th April, 2027****Culture & benefits

You will also enjoy:

• Base wage of $102,971p.a. (plus allowances and overtime)
• Work 8 hour days on a 9-day fortnight.
• Up to $900 in electricity bill reimbursements every year.
• Paid parental leave - Primary Carer (18 weeks) / Secondary Carer (5 weeks)

About you  
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring: 
Essential:

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology
• Electrical Workers Licence
• Australian citizenship or permanent residency
• Current Class-C Australian driver’s licence

Desirable:

• EWP, White Card, First Aid, Rigging & Dogging
• Experience working on 33kV aerials and switchgear
• Involvement in power, control and protection system upgrades
• Exposure to industrial, commercial or heavy electrical environments
