Powersports Mechanic

Job Overview:

• Install accessories for new sales and counter customers.
• Prep new machines for inventory and presold units.
• Remove and replace engine components as necessary on powersports vehicles.
• Perform preventative and regular maintenance, according to manufacturer specifications.
• Compose repair estimates for internal and external customers.
• Inspect vehicles and identify additional recommended services.
• Prepare list of required parts and labor times for each job.
• Safely and effectively operate all shop equipment and tools.
• Explain diagnostic test results to Service Advisor or Manager, and if necessary, the customer.
• Perform test rides and other tests. Including ORV and Motorcycles.
• Follow all safety rules and guidelines, as determined by management.
• Be willing to perform work outside the mechanic duties as determined by Manager.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Preferred technical degree in related field
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong computer skills with diagnostic and data entry knowledge
• Valid Class M Driver's License (or ability to obtain)
• Acceptable Driving Record
• PA State Inspection License

Estimated hourly rate: $18 - $21/hour (dependent on experience)
