Powersports Technician

Duties

• Perform comprehensive diagnostics using powersports specific tools to identify mechanical issues accurately.
• Repair and service engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, suspension components, and other critical parts of powersports equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid replacements, winterizing and assembly of new units.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering techniques a bonus to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
• Assist customers by explaining repair procedures, providing maintenance recommendations, and ensuring a positive service experience.
• Complete detailed work orders and documentation for all repairs performed to maintain accurate service records.
• Support inventory management by ordering parts and ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained.

Experience

• Previous dealership experience or service technician background in powersports repair is highly preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle diagnostics and repair processes.
• Familiarity with powersports repair techniques such as engine repair, suspension work, brake repair, welding, soldering, and assembly.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting techniques, and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Experience working with powersports electronics is a plus.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
