Role Overview

This Role: We are looking for a skilled Manager in Production. Control of all assembly operational aspects including production, plant production development, health safety within assigned policy guidelines to drive the performance of key result areas on production activities and continuous implementation monitoring.

Job Title: Production Planning Control Executive - Battery Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Production Planning: Prepare daily, weekly, monthly production schedules based on sales forecast, customer orders, and capacity. Plan for cell, formation, assembly, and pack lines.
• 2. Material Planning: Coordinate with Stores/Purchase for RM, components, separators, electrolyte, BMS. Ensure no stock-outs. Track inventory levels WIP.
• 3. Capacity Line Balancing: Monitor bottleneck areas like coating, calendaring, winding, formation. Optimize OEE and line efficiency.
• 4. Shopfloor Coordination: Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance to meet daily output targets and handle breakdowns/changeovers.
• 5. MIS Reporting: Generate daily production reports, variance analysis, OEE, scrap % reports. Share with Plant Head management.
• 6. NPD/Change Management: Support new product trials, pilot runs, and engineering change notes for battery variants.
• 7. Compliance: Follow safety, 5S, ISO procedures. Maintain documentation for audits.

Required Skills

• ERP
• MS Excel - advanced: VLOOKUP, Pivot, planning sheets
• Understanding of battery manufacturing process: electrode, cell assembly, formation, testing
• Analytical mindset + coordination with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work in shift environment

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualifications: Diploma /B.E/B.Tech Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering.
• Experience: 3-4 years in PPC, preferably in battery/Li-ion/lead-acid manufacturing
