Roles and Responsibilities

• Plan, launch and manage paid campaigns on Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, Shopping, YouTube) and Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) for our clients
• Deliver against clear targets (cost per lead, cost per acquisition and ROAS), not just clicks and impressions
• Handle the weekly optimisation work: search-term reviews and negative keywords, bid strategy and budget changes, and audience and placement cleanup
• Set up and verify conversion tracking with GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads conversions and the Meta Pixel / Conversions API, so every lead and sale is counted correctly
• Plan and run ad copy and creative tests, and brief new creatives based on what the data shows
• Work with the web team on landing pages that match the ad and convert
• Report weekly and monthly on spend, leads or sales, CPL/CPA and ROAS, covering what you changed and what you'll do next

Desired Candidate Profile

• 25 years of hands-on performance marketing, with personal ownership of both Google Ads and Meta Ads accounts
• Has managed real monthly ad budgets and can share the numbers: spend, CPL or ROAS, before and after
• Can walk us through one campaign they turned around: what was wrong, what they changed and what the result was
• Strong with conversion tracking: GA4, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel and Conversions API
• Comfortable analysing data in Excel or Google Sheets (Looker Studio is a plus)
• Clear written and spoken English for client reports and calls
• Good to have: Google Ads certification, lead generation for service businesses, e-commerce or Shopify campaigns, CRM tracking (HubSpot, GoHighLevel), basic SEO knowledge
