Role Overview

We are looking for a PPC Executive with experience in the flexible packaging / converting industry to manage production planning, scheduling, material coordination and order execution. The role will be responsible for ensuring smooth movement of jobs across Printing, Lamination, Curing, Slitting and Pouching, while monitoring production progress and delivery commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily and weekly production plans based on customer orders, priorities and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, Procurement, QA/QC, Maintenance and Dispatch teams for smooth order execution.
• Monitor Plan vs. Actual production and follow up on deviations, delays and pending jobs.
• Track WIP (Work in Progress) across Printing, Lamination, Curing, Slitting and Pouching processes.
• Ensure availability of required raw materials, consumables and packaging materials before production.
• Coordinate and follow up for gravure cylinders, including cylinder availability, engraving/proofing status and production requirements.
• Prepare and release job cards / production orders as per the approved production plan.
• Monitor machine capacity, production timelines and job priorities to optimize production scheduling.
• Identify production bottlenecks and coordinate with relevant departments for timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate production planning data in ERP/MIS systems and prepare daily/weekly PPC reports.
• Track pending orders and provide regular updates on production status and expected completion dates.
• Coordinate with Dispatch to ensure finished goods are available as per committed delivery schedules.
• Maintain reports related to production planning, WIP, material shortages, pending orders and plan adherence.
• Ensure effective communication of changes in production priorities and schedules to concerned teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Graduate/Diploma in Engineering, Production, Operations, or a related field.
• 4-9 years of experience in PPC/Production Planning, mandatory in flexible packaging or converting.
• Strong understanding of production processes such as Gravure/Flexographic Printing, Lamination, Curing, Slitting and Pouching.
• Experience in raw material planning, WIP monitoring and production scheduling.
• Exposure to gravure cylinder coordination will be an advantage.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, ERP/MIS and production reporting.
• Strong coordination, follow-up and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple production priorities and work within tight delivery timelines.
