Senior IP Network Engineer B2B is part of the FiberGrid Service Design team, which is responsible for the design, operation and maintenance of IP, Security and DDI domain. At the same time, the team designs, develops and supports services towards corporate customers The role participates in all activities of the team, focusing more on the infrastructure and services towards corporate customers.

Responsibilities:

• Designs, implements and supports corporate customers services
• Participates in technical meetings and solution presentations for corporate customers
• Participates in configuration and preventive maintenance actions for systems under the team's responsibility
• Participates in the development of tools and procedures for the automation of the network and services
• Manages communication with collaborating Vendors to ensure the timely resolution of issues
• Participates in Audit, PoC & Testing procedures
• Creates and maintains documentation for the domain of responsibility
• Participates in the preparation, issuance, and evaluation of RFQs/RFPs for the procurement of equipment
• Provides support and correspondence in cases of emergency

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma from a University/Technological Education Institute/College in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering or Engineering in general, IT, Computer Science or other technological or science-related discipline
• At least five (5) years of working experience in a network engineer role
• Experience in an ISP, Telco Operator, Vendor, System Integrator, or a related field is desirable
• Experience in the design and implementation of SDWAN services, in Cisco and/or Juniper platforms and in the use of OSPF, MPLS, EoMPLS, BGP
• Knowledge of Fortinet firewalls management is desirable
• Cisco CCNP Certifications in R&S or Service Provider technologies is desirable
• Certification related to SDWAN technology is desirable
• Oral & written communication and presentation skills in both Greek and English
