Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Planning Manager to lead the PPC function for a structural steel and heavy engineering fabrication facility. The role will focus on production planning, material coordination, capacity utilization, scheduling, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor production plans, schedules, and work orders.
• Track daily production and Plan vs. Actual performance.
• Plan material requirements based on BOMs, drawings, and production schedules.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Stores, Quality, Design, and Projects teams.
• Manage manpower, machine capacity, WIP, and resource allocation.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate inspection, dispatch, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare DPR, MIS, and KPI reports.
• Drive improvements in planning accuracy, productivity, and operational efficiency.

Qualification & Experience

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 8uPHONE_NUMBER years of experience in PPC, Production Planning, or Manufacturing Planning.
• Experience in structural steel, heavy engineering, fabrication, EPC, pressure vessels, tanks, ducting, or similar industries preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and MS Excel.
• Strong knowledge of production scheduling, capacity planning, and material planning.
