About the Client: a digital marketing agency focused on helping local service businesses grow through measurable, results-driven strategies. The company works with businesses across industries such as pest control, HVAC, roofing, solar, cleaning services, and legal services.

**Overview: **We're looking for a PPC account manager who can take full ownership of a portfolio of Google Ads accounts from day one. You'll be trusted to manage accounts independently: making strategic decisions, spotting problems before they're pointed out, and finding new ways to drive results for our clients. If you need step-by-step direction, this isn't the right fit.

Responsibilities:

• Structure campaigns and ad groups, choose bidding strategies, and configure targeting to match each client's goals.
• Manage budgets and pacing so spend is allocated efficiently throughout the month.
• Write compelling ad copy and assets that drive clicks and conversions.
• Mine search term reports regularly and maintain negative keyword lists to eliminate wasted spend.
• Adjust match types, bids, and keyword coverage based on performance data.
• Continuously improve Quality Score and Ad Rank to lower costs and win more valuable impressions.
• Implement and troubleshoot offline conversion tracking, connecting CRM, call tracking, and lead data back to Google Ads so bidding optimizes toward real business outcomes.
• Make sure every account is measuring what actually matters to the client.
• Think beyond standard best practices to find new ways to improve account performance.
• Stay current on platform updates, beta features, and industry changes, and bring new ideas to the team.
• Contribute to proposals and account strategy for prospective clients.



Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on Google Ads management experience (adjust as needed).
• A proven ability to manage accounts independently with minimal oversight.
• Expert-level knowledge of keyword match types and search term management.
• Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager.
• A solid grasp of the Google Ads auction and Ad Rank factors.
• A self-starter mindset: you take initiative, solve problems on your own, and hold yourself accountable for results.
• Curiosity and a habit of constant learning. You follow the industry because you want to, not because you have to.
• Experience with local service businesses, call tracking platforms, or CRM integrations is a plus.
