PPG ADC Holter Tech

Job Summary:

Responsible for efficient functioning of the monitoring area of the ADC. Responsible for maintaining efficient and timely turnaround time for ambulatory EKG and12 lead EKGs reports. Responsible for scanning, interpretation, and transcription of ambulatory EKG recordings. Responsible for assisting with the transcription and final reporting of all cardiac event recordings including holter reports. Takes incoming phone calls, responds to emails and ensures appropriate staff receive relevant information. Schedules appointments, assists with add on patients, manages report lists, work queues and other ancillary tasks within the department. Works directly with patients applying holters and cardiac monitors while also providing education for patient understanding related to the device and expectations of services provided. Acts as resource to others within and outside of Cardiology. Displays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational and patient service skills. Demonstrates proficiency with computer skills. Responsible for working collaboratively with management and coworkers to provide excellent service to our patients at all clinical sites.
