PPIC and Supply Chain Staff (Houseware)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain production planning schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, machine capacity, and inventory levels.

• Monitor and control raw materials, packaging materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods inventory to support uninterrupted production.

• Create and manage documents:

  • Purchase Requests (PR) for raw materials and components
  • Work Orders / Production Orders (SPK)

• Coordinate with:

  • Warehouse (stock availability & material flow)
  • Production team (schedule execution & machine capacity)
  • Purchasing team (procurement & supplier lead time)

• Analyze material requirements and generate Material Requirement Planning (MRP) to support production needs.

• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to accommodate changes in demand, priorities, or capacity constraints.

• Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Quality, and Sales teams to ensure efficient supply chain execution.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform stock analysis to optimize inventory levels and minimize shortages or excess stock.

• Monitor production output, material consumption, and inventory turnover performance.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to production planning, inventory status, and supply chain performance.

• Identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

• Support demand forecasting and supply planning activities.

• Ensure compliance with company procedures, inventory control policies, and supply chain best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in PPIC, Production Planning, Inventory Control, Supply Chain, or related functions within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in plastic manufacturing, injection molding, consumer goods, packaging, or related industries is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of Production Planning, Inventory Control, MRP, Supply Planning, and Warehouse Operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, IF, Pivot Table preferred)
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and capacity planning.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to analyze inventory data and generate actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple departments.
• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Plus Points):

• Experience in plastic injection molding manufacturing operations.

• Familiar with production processes such as:

  • Injection molding
  • Assembling
  • Packing

• Knowledge of demand forecasting and supply chain optimization.
