PPIC Coordinator (Production, Planning and Inventory Control)

We are looking for a PPIC Coordinator to manage and coordinate production planning, scheduling, and inventory control activities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that production requirements are aligned with customer demand, material availability, inventory levels, and delivery schedules to support efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor production plans and schedules based on sales orders, demand forecasts, and available production capacity.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, Sales, and Logistics departments to ensure timely production and order fulfillment.
• Monitor raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods inventory to ensure sufficient stock availability.
• Check material requirements and coordinate with the Purchasing Department regarding shortages and replenishment needs.
• Monitor daily production output and compare actual performance against planned production targets.
• Update and maintain production planning schedules, inventory records, and monitoring reports.
• Ensure accurate recording of material receipts, issuances, transfers, and finished goods production in the inventory or ERP system.
• Conduct regular inventory monitoring and coordinate with the Warehouse Department to resolve discrepancies between physical stocks and system records.
• Monitor pending production orders, material shortages, and production delays, and provide timely updates to management.
• Assist in analyzing production efficiency, inventory movement, and material utilization to support operational improvements.
• Ensure proper documentation and accuracy of production and inventory transactions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or any related course.
• At least 6 months of experience in PPIC, production planning, inventory control, or a similar role is preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing company is an advantage, particularly in mattress, foam, furniture, or other related industries.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, particularly in data analysis, formulas, and report preparation.
• Experience using ERP, inventory management, or accounting systems is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail, particularly in production data, inventory records, and documentation.
• Able to coordinate effectively with different departments and meet deadlines.
• Willing to work onsite in a manufacturing environment.
