PPM Maintenance - FT

Job Requirements And Responsibilities

• Operate backhoe equipment, small and large power equipment of all types, and perform preventive maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Collect garbage from parks and public areas, pick up litter and debris, rake leaves and manage yard waste, and trim trees and perform landscaping maintenance. Maintain vehicles and storage areas in clean, orderly, and safe condition.
• Lift and carry up to 100 lbs., push, pull, and drag up to 150 lbs., and sit, stand, walk, climb, crawl, kneel, squat, stoop, and twist for extended periods while performing assigned tasks and repetitive physical movements.
• Work outdoors in extreme temperatures, including heat and cold variations, and in inclement weather conditions. Exposure to dust, odors, mechanical hazards, and toxic substances is expected.
• Communicate courteously with the public and City employees while maintaining a professional demeanor in all customer-facing interactions.

Work Schedule

Full-time position working 5 days per week, with required overtime as needed and rotating weekend shifts.

Additional Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.
