About YTO Express Australia

YTO Express Australia is the Australian subsidiary of YTO Express Group, one of the world's largest integrated express delivery and logistics companies, with a network spanning more than 150 countries and regions. We are building an express and logistics network across Australia — and a brand that Australian businesses and communities can rely on.

This is a rare opportunity to join a growing international company at its foundation stage in Australia and take genuine ownership of how the market sees YTO.

About The Role

We are looking for a capable and hands-on PR & Communications Officer to grow YTO's brand and media presence in Australia. Reporting to senior management, you will work across media relations, content, corporate communications, events and executive support.

This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Braybrook office, Monday to Friday. It is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership and wants to help shape a growing international brand in the Australian market.

Key Responsibilities

Media Relations & Content

  • Write, edit and distribute press releases, media statements, corporate announcements and other external communications in clear, engaging English.
  • Coordinate Chinese-language communications and media coverage where required.
  • Act as the day-to-day contact for PR, marketing and creative agencies, including preparing briefs, managing timelines, reviewing deliverables and following stories through to publication.
  • Build and maintain relationships with Australian mainstream and multicultural media, particularly Chinese-language outlets.
  • Identify relevant story opportunities from business milestones, including service launches, network growth, community initiatives and customer wins.
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare a monthly PR report with practical insights and recommendations.

Executive and stakeholder support

  • Accompany senior management to client meetings, business visits and industry or public events; prepare briefing notes and capture follow-up actions
  • Coordinate corporate events, site visits and hosting of visiting delegations from headquarters and business partners
  • Prepare presentations, talking points and background briefs for executives

Brand & Corporate Communications

  • Help maintain brand guidelines and keep messaging consistent across all external touchpoints
  • Support content for the company website, LinkedIn page and internal communications
  • Assist with issues and reputation management under management guidance
  • Coordinate translations and bilingual communications between the Australian team and China headquarters

About You

  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to turn a rough brief into clear, publication-ready content.
  • Professional fluency in Mandarin, both written and spoken, to communicate regularly with our China headquarters and Chinese-language media.
  • A confident, professional communication style when working with senior leaders, clients, media and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing external agencies, suppliers or creative partners.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing deadlines, events and stakeholder priorities.
  • Full working rights in Australia.

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience in the logistics, express, freight or e-commerce industry
  • Existing media contacts in Australia (mainstream or Chinese-language media)
  • Event coordination experience

What We Offer

  • Salary package: $70,000 – $90,000 + superannuation, based on experience
  • A genuine ground-floor opportunity — your work directly shapes a national brand
  • Direct exposure to senior leadership and international business operations
  • Career pathways within a global network spanning 150+ countries and regions
  • Hybrid-friendly working arrangements and a supportive, close-knit team
  • Training and professional development support

How to Apply

Please submit your CV, a short cover letter and 1 – 2 writing samples (e.g. a press release or published article) via SEEK or to our recruitment email. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.

YTO Express Australia is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
