Practice Accountant

Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Accountant to join our friendly and supportive team. The ideal candidate will have practice experience in financial accounting with proficiency in various accounting software. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage their work load and contribute to the growth of the business.

This is a full or part time role (we can make either work for the ideal candidate) and will require attendance at our Goring office and local clients for the majority of the working hours.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, self assessment returns and VAT returns.
• Provide technical advice to clients
• Friendly and helpful team member
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• AAT level 4, ACCA, ACA or equivalent
• Strong practice experience
• Solid understanding of AML requirements
• Experience with a range of accounting software.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Friendly, happy and a great communicator

Pay: From £40,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Reading RG8 9AT: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
