PRACTICE ASSISTANT – PRN

Position Overview

True Wellness is seeking a dependable, professional, creative, and motivated Practice Assistant to support the daily operations of our medical wellness and aesthetics practice.

This is a multi-functional position that combines front-office responsibilities, personal assisting, clinical support, patient experience, and in-house social media content creation. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and a fast learner who can take initiative without needing constant direction.

Creativity and strong video editing skills are especially important for this position. We are looking for someone who can not only capture content but also bring fresh ideas to help showcase our services and brand on social media.

Key Responsibilities

Front Office & Administrative Support

• Greet and check patients in and out in a warm and professional manner.
• Answer incoming calls and assist with general patient inquiries.
• Call and/or text patients to confirm upcoming appointments.
• Schedule, reschedule, and manage appointments.
• Assist with maintaining an organized daily schedule and patient flow.
• Enter and update patient demographic and appointment information accurately.
• Assist with basic administrative and office duties as assigned.
• Maintain professionalism and patient confidentiality at all times.
• Other duties as needed

Clinical Support

• Prepare treatment rooms before scheduled appointments.
• Set up treatment trays and supplies according to provider needs.
• Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, stocked, and ready for use.
• Clean and reset treatment areas between patients.
• Assist providers with patient flow and non-licensed support tasks as needed.
• Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies are running low.
• Follow established infection-control, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Other duties as needed

Content Creation & Social Media

• Capture high-quality photos and videos of services, providers, products, and behind-the-scenes activities.
• Create and edit short-form video content for Instagram, TikTok, Reels, Stories, and other platforms.
• Assist with developing creative content ideas, hooks, trends, and promotional concepts.
• Help maintain a consistent and professional brand image across content.
• Be comfortable filming and directing providers/staff when creating content.
• Identify opportunities throughout the workday to capture engaging content.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining a library of photos and video content.
• Other duties as needed

Strong video editing skills and creativity are key requirements for this position.

• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
• Comfortable using technology and learning new software.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok.
• Experience creating and editing short-form video content.
• Ability to generate creative content ideas rather than relying solely on provided instructions.
• Comfortable working around medical wellness and aesthetic treatments.
• Ability to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Previous medical office, aesthetics, wellness, administrative, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who sees what needs to be done and takes initiative. You should be equally comfortable answering the phone and confirming appointments, preparing a treatment room, helping keep the office organized, and picking up a phone or camera to create engaging social media content.

Schedule & Compensation

• Position: PRN / As Needed
• Flexible scheduling based on practice needs and appointment volume.
• Some weekday and/or weekend availability may be needed.
• Hourly compensation based on experience and skill level.
• Opportunity for additional hours and responsibilities as the practice grows.

Applicants with content creation experience should be prepared to provide examples of previous social media content or video editing work.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN, Per diem

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
