Practice Development Attorney-Private Funds

We are partnering with a leading global law firm that is seeking a Practice Development Lawyer (PDL) with 4-5 years of private funds expertise. This non-partner track role supports the private funds practice by managing knowledge resources and supporting lawyer development.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge Management: Stay updated on private investment funds, regulatory changes, and industry trends. Maintain and curate precedents, databases, and other resources.
• Training & Development: Provide legal expertise, assist with training junior lawyers, and coordinate group CLEs.
• Collaboration: Work with BD, Library, and other teams to support the group’s needs. Help with pitches, presentations, and business development efforts.
• Innovation: Partner with teams to test legal tech and knowledge solutions.
• Legal Research: Conduct complex legal research and support client projects.

Requirements:

• JD/LL.M. or equivalent
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Strong service orientation and problem-solving ability
• Ability to collaborate with lawyers and non-legal staff
