Practice Manager - Cardiology Office

Pay: $60,000–$70,000/year, plus benefits

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, on-site in Winter Park, FL

About HeartWell Cardiology

HeartWell Cardiology is a growing independent interventional and vascular cardiology practice in Winter Park. We offer office-based cardiology, vascular and venous procedures, cardiac imaging and monitoring, with a focus on fast access and a high standard of care.

The role

The Practice Manager runs the practice day to day: full schedules, strong schedule utilization, and a team that performs to standard.

What you'll own

• Schedule utilization: clinic and procedure days booked to capacity, cancellations and no-shows backfilled quickly, and utilization tracked and reported weekly.
• Daily operations: patient flow, front desk, check-out, phones and patient communication.
• Staffing: hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, performance management and, when needed, termination for a team of about six.
• Revenue cycle oversight: work with our billing partner on charge capture, prior authorizations, denials and A/R.
• Systems and SOPs: maintain and improve written procedures and make sure they're followed.
• Vendors, supplies and facilities: inventory against par levels, vendor relationships, and the building.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years managing a medical practice or clinic, currently in a management role
• A track record of keeping provider schedules full and utilization high
• Hands-on experience hiring, managing and, when needed, letting go of staff
• Working knowledge of medical billing, prior authorizations and payer rules
• Comfort with an EHR (eClinicalWorks a plus) and with tracking performance metrics
• Steady, organized and accountable; you follow through without being asked
• Cardiology or specialty practice experience preferred; Spanish a plus
