Practice Manager

About the role

We are seeking a business-minded leader to oversee daily clinic operations, drive financial performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and elevate client experience while working hand-in-hand with the Head of Medical Department to build a thriving, high-performing pet hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily clinic operations, patient flow, and compliance with SOPs and veterinary regulations
• Oversee clinic financials including budget, revenue, and expenses
• Collaborate with the Head of Medical Department to ensure medical teams have the resources, systems, and support needed to deliver excellent patient care
• Lead strategic workforce planning through collaborating on recruitment, training, performance management, and fostering strong team morale across veterinarians, nurses, and supporting staff
• Deliver exceptional client service, resolve concerns professionally, and lead client engagement and marketing initiatives

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Hospital Operations Management, or related field
• Minimum 3 years management experience, preferably in veterinary or healthcare settings
• Proven ability to manage day-to-day client-facing and doctor-facing operational activities
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate business goals into actionable plans
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills with experience leading diverse, multi-disciplinary teams with empathy
• Proficient in Excel and experience in using digital clinic systems
• Excellent communication, crisis management, and client relations skills
