What they need

The Opportunity

A growing, privately held healthcare organization is preparing to expand its presence in the Dallas area and is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to help build, launch, and lead its local operations.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys creating structure, developing teams, and taking ownership of an operation rather than simply maintaining an established practice. The Practice Manager will initially play a hands-on role in getting new locations up and running and, as the organization grows, will provide operational leadership across approximately 2–5 practices .

You’ll have responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the practices, including team leadership, patient experience, operational workflows, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and administrative systems. Just as importantly, you’ll help establish the processes and expectations that allow each location to operate consistently and successfully as the organization continues to grow.

This role is ideal for a healthcare leader who can move comfortably between the big picture and the day-to-day details, someone who can develop employees, solve operational problems, monitor performance, and step alongside the team when needed.

What You'll Take Ownership Of

As Practice Manager, you'll serve as a key operational leader for the Dallas-area practices. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the day-to-day operations of multiple practices and ensuring each location operates efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with organizational standards.
  • Helping launch new locations by establishing workflows, procedures, staffing plans, and operational routines.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing clinical and administrative team members while creating clear expectations and accountability.
  • Building a collaborative, patient-centered culture focused on professionalism, service, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitoring practice performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, patient experience, and overall operational results.
  • Managing staffing, scheduling, supplies, equipment, and other resources necessary to support practice operations.
  • Partnering with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning as locations grow.
  • Supporting the financial sustainability of each practice by responsibly managing resources and monitoring performance against established goals.
  • Ensuring clinical and administrative workflows are completed accurately, consistently, and according to established procedures.
  • Ensuring practices operate in accordance with applicable healthcare regulations, organizational policies, patient confidentiality requirements, and quality standards.
  • Supporting internal audits, inspections, and continuous quality improvement efforts.
  • Identifying operational challenges early, developing practical solutions, and communicating effectively with organizational leadership.
  • Helping strengthen patient retention and the reputation of each practice by ensuring patients receive a dependable, professional, and compassionate experience.
  • Serving as a visible, hands-on leader who is willing to work alongside the team when circumstances require it.

Who Tends to Thrive in This Role

There isn't one specific career path we're targeting.

You may currently manage a medical office, outpatient clinic, specialty practice, physician group, healthcare service, or another patient-facing operation. We're most interested in finding someone who has successfully led people and understands what it takes to keep a healthcare operation running well.

Ideally, you'll bring several years of professional experience, including meaningful experience managing or supervising others. Multi-site healthcare leadership experience is strongly preferred , particularly if you've been responsible for both employees and the broader operational or financial performance of a location, practice, or department.

We're especially interested in someone who is:

  • Comfortable operating independently and taking ownership without needing constant direction.
  • Organized enough to manage multiple locations, competing priorities, and changing needs.
  • Confident making day-to-day operational decisions and solving problems as they arise.
  • Able to coach and develop employees while maintaining clear standards and accountability.
  • Willing to work alongside the team rather than managing exclusively from an office.
  • Focused on creating a consistent, positive, and dependable patient experience.
  • Comfortable reviewing operational and financial performance and using that information to make decisions.
  • Energized by building processes and structure where they may not already exist.
  • Able to balance the needs of individual practices with the broader goals of a growing organization.

A bachelor's degree is preferred but will be considered alongside relevant professional, healthcare, and leadership experience.

Compensation & Benefits

This position offers a competitive base salary along with the opportunity to earn additional performance-based compensation.

Eligible employees also have access to a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage; life and disability benefits; maternity leave; paid time off; and a retirement savings plan.

Additional information regarding compensation, incentive opportunities, benefits, and eligibility will be discussed during the interview process.

Interested in Building Something?

This opportunity is particularly well suited for someone who gets excited about building an operation rather than simply inheriting one.

If you've successfully led teams in a healthcare environment, understand what makes a practice run well, and enjoy solving problems, developing people, establishing processes, and taking ownership of results, we'd welcome the opportunity to learn more about your experience.

Because this is a confidential search , additional information regarding the organization, its growth plans, and specific Dallas-area locations will be shared with candidates as they progress through the interview process.

The organization provides equal employment opportunities to qualified applicants and employees and complies with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
