About The Role As the Practice Manager at Myhealth Potts Point, you'll play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations, leading your team and ensuring the clinic runs smoothly while delivering a great patient experience. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, 12-month contract with a view to extend, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the practice, build strong relationships with doctors and your team, and make a positive impact in a smaller, close-knit clinic environment.

A Day In The Life

• Collaborating with lead doctors to ensure smooth operational workflows
• Overseeing the day-to-day practice operations with a focus on quality care
• Facilitating inductions and in-house training sessions for new staff
• Managing the diary scheduling system with the Clinical Team, including waitlist management and patient appointment coordination
• Providing solution-focused management to clinic operations and doctor queries
• Leading a team with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and patient care

What we're looking for:

• Experience in GP medical reception or practice management
• Confident in taking on leadership and senior administrative roles
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in managing nursing and administration staff is preferred but not essential
• Familiarity with Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billings preferred
• Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
• A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for enhancing patient experiences and practice operations
